I am 2017 passout student, Entc engineer from Sgbau University. When I was new to know about cdac I had many queries Like you are having now, So I thought I must share my experience. Talking about my background : As I am from electronics branch, I wasnt that good in c programming or any kind of programming, but one thing for sure I was willing to learn, and have great interest in technology. So after spending one year(small short term courses) after BE, finally cracked the ccat with 640 rank in a+b+c  (not so great rank in a+b)  so I got admitted in DESD course in sunbeam, And omg, its wonderful course(great syllabus designed) as well superb teaching staff , my suggestion If you are confused betwwen dac and desd course and Have love for linux/kernel or microcontrollers, then definitely go for desd,  Dac has good placements comparatively but syllabus of dac is tight and get less exposure to single topic,  but in desd , suficent time to learn all topica and b...

Q.  Which is better for PG-DESD: Sunbeam Pune or CDAC pune? Both are obviously Best,  We will compare some things like IN ACTS : 24*7 hr labs only for boys only Nice faculty Cons : No bag allows in building have to carry all stuff in hands No lift allow for students Room rent are too much  very few food shops around,  rarely stationary shops nearby Placements are better than sunbeam IN SUNBEAM : Faculty is the best (my personal experience)  For DAC as well for DESD, dmc On each module competition between sub groups winner group gets point.(at cultural fest first 3 group got price 30000,20000.10000 rs) Sport day Cultural fest,  Mock company recruit event(mock interview)  Room rent is not so much,  Cons: Food no quality Small building afterall placements are at common campus. Only matters your final exam marks
